Using traditional materials in the  for NDT inspections can have a tendency to cause issues that ultimately end up costing you time, materials and accuracy.

Innovation Polymers has developed specialty rubber formulations like:  Aqualene™, ACE™ and Aqualink with acoustic velocities near that of water and having a range of hardness from approximately 30 to 70 Shore A Durometer. This provides clients with a range of options for acoustic matching.  We offer moulded products made to customer specific designs using these specialty materials.  Products like delay lines, TOFD and PA wedges for HDPE, wheel-probes and many more products supplied to customer specific designs.

Using Aqualene™, ACE™ or Aqualink as a coupling solution for inspections allows you to add these savings to your inspections:

  • Reduced consumption of gel type coupling agents
  • time performing your inspections,
  • time evaluating the data,
  • and time cleaning up.

Innovation Polymers is a leader in acoustic capable polymer solutions for the non-destructive testing industry, providing high-quality products and services to clients across a range of industries. With a commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, the company has the capability to develop a wide range of unique sound coupling polymeric media and has earned a reputation as a trusted partner in the industry.
